Refund & Cancellation Policy

How we handle cancellations and refund requests for the services we provide.

Last updated: 16 September 2026

Our approach

Qelvion provides custom services such as website design and development, advertising, SEO and marketing support. Because each project is different, cancellation and refund arrangements are dealt with openly and case by case, based on the work already carried out and the terms agreed for that specific project.

Cancelling a project or service

  • If you want to cancel a project or stop a monthly service, tell us in writing by email or WhatsApp so we can confirm the request and stop further work.
  • Any cancellation terms specifically agreed in your quote, proposal or written agreement will apply.
  • We will confirm what work has been completed up to the cancellation date and what, if anything, remains payable or refundable.

Refund requests

If you are unhappy with our work, contact us first. In most cases we would rather fix the problem than end the relationship. Where a refund is requested, we will consider:

  • The work already completed and delivered at the time of the request.
  • Any specific terms agreed in writing for that project.
  • Third-party costs already paid on your behalf, such as domain registration, hosting fees or advertising spend, which are paid to the relevant provider and are generally not recoverable by us.
  • Your rights under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act where it applies.

We will respond to a refund request in writing and explain the outcome and the reasons for it.

Third-party costs

Domain names, hosting, advertising budgets and third-party subscriptions are charged by those providers and are subject to their own terms. Cancelling a service with us does not automatically cancel a third-party subscription in your name, and amounts already paid to a third party are handled under that provider’s own policy. What is and is not included in each package is listed on our pricing page.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy removes or limits any rights you may have under South African consumer law. Where a statutory right applies, it takes precedence over this policy.
